In addition to the amazing youth clubs and activity schemes, BDCPS also offer access to bespoke residential trips and special days out to sports events, music concerts, theatre shows, outdoor activities and much more!

Past adventures have included residentials to Caldecotte Xperience, Centre Parcs and a supported family weekend away at The Wingate Centre in Cheshire. In 2012 we visited the London Paralympics and have attended music festivals including Rhythms of the World. We have also been lucky enough to get tickets to see Six Nations rugby matches at Twickenham, where young people and their male carers have gone along together! We did a Big Brother weekend at Caldecotte and stayed at Chellington for a residential too!

The young people once became stars of their own soap ‘The Secret Stories of Haddock Farm’ which was filmed in a variety of locations over a few weeks. You can still see this on our YouTube page.

We recently worked with Full house Theatre Co to bring doorstep adventures to our young people at home during the pandemic. This enabled us to bring so much happiness and smiles to our young people and families, who have missed out on so much social interaction and fun with their friends during the lockdowns.

Watch this space for any adventures and residential’s that we have in the pipeline!
