Bedford & District Cerebral Palsy Society (BDCPS) is specialist in providing services to families whose lives are affected by Cerebral Palsy and many associated disabilities in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire.
We are looking to recruit a Grant Fundraiser to identify and maximise funding opportunities through grant applications. We are looking for a candidate with experience of grant fundraising, who can research, develop and submit accurate, substantiated and compelling funding bids. The right candidate will also understand how best to evaluate the impact of bids and produce outcome measures around the grant process, linking directly to the charity’s effectiveness.

This position is for an initial contract period of one year, subject to a three-month probationary period and a further review in six months. It is also subject to safer recruitment procedure and DBS clearance, and is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The position will be for 30 hours per week. Hybrid working is available with attendance at the office on specified days each week. Salary £22,000 -£26,000 pro rata, dependent on qualifications and experience. We would also expect the postholder to work to a target grant income per annum which will be reviewed regularly.
