Originally established in 1954, BDCPS is a small charity based in Bedfordshire, which provides playschemes and youth clubs for children and young people with complex disabilities (aged 0 to 25). In addition BDCPS also provide critical support and activities to families, which includes parent carers and siblings.

At BDCPS we focus on ABILITY rather than disability. We go to great lengths to ensure all clubs are inclusive, creative, inspiring and empowering!

BDCPS provide specialist support for those living with Cerebral Palsy in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire. As well as Cerebral Palsy, we are there to support and help provide services, support and activities for a huge range of disabilities, many of which are life limiting.

All our youth clubs and playschemes provide young people with 1:1 support and our professional team of staff who are trained to meet all care needs.

Cerebral Palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and movement. It usually results from damage or injury to the developing brain, before, during or after birth. To find out more, click here.
